Zippo Super Durable (SD) 1966 "New Sales Aid" Promotional Salesman's Golf Ball w Box

SKU ZP001001

Zippo Salesman "New Sales Aid" Golf Ball in Box - circa 1966

In 1966 Zippo introduced the SD "Super Durable" golf ball. They worked in conjunction with Faultless Golf Company to produce these Zippo golf balls that would be branded with various advertisements that companies might order.

The SD salesman's golf ball is featured front and center on the cover of Michael Grimaldi's book, "And You Thought Zippo Only Made Lighters". Each Zippo sales person would have this kind of sample in the field as they visited potential clients.

The golf ball for sale is unused in the original box that features a "guarantee note" from George Blaisdell that each ball would last 180 holes of golf (10 rounds).
