1973 Northwestern Vintage Zippo Lighter New in Box
1973 Northwestern Vintage Zippo Lighter — New in Box
This full-size 1973 Zippo advertiser lighter features the distinctive red-and-black NorthWestern Employee Owned logo on the principal display face. The graphic remains crisp, bright, and highly presentable.
The lighter is represented as new old stock and unfired, with the correct period-style insert and original Zippo box, black display tray, and instruction/flint card. The reverse carries a handwritten personalization that appears to read “Sylvia Anderson.” The chrome case shows light handling and storage evidence consistent with age, but no major dents or significant design loss are visible.
The original box is generally in good condition for its age but shows deterioration, edge wear, interior paper loss, and storage wear. Box condition is graded separately from the lighter.
Collectors Flame Grade: Excellent 93
The numerical grade reflects the overall condition of the lighter, with particular consideration given to the strong preservation and display quality of the principal design face. The reverse personalization and light age-related storage evidence prevent a Mint designation.
