1970 Zippo Great Lakes Steel Supervisory Workshop – Unfired with Box & Papers

$125.00
SKU BF005011

Original 1970 Zippo advertising lighter produced for Great Lakes Steel and its Supervisory Workshop program. The brushed-chrome case features crisp black lettering above a strong one-color blue QP – Quality Pays! emblem.

Great Lakes Steel was an iconic Midwestern steel producer closely associated with America’s automotive and industrial manufacturing era. Corporate advertising Zippos from major steel companies remain desirable examples of American industrial history.

This lighter is unfired and retains its correct insert, original Zippo presentation box, warranty pamphlet, and instruction paper. The bottom stamp is exceptionally strong and clearly dates the lighter to 1970.

Condition is graded Excellent 93. The display face and blue graphic remain sharp and attractive. Several small pockmarks or flea bites are present on the reverse, accounting for the grade rather than a Mint designation.
