1963 Westinghouse Raised-Emblem Zippo

Offered here is an original 1963 Zippo advertising lighter produced for Westinghouse, one of the most recognizable names in American industrial and electrical history.

The front of the brushed chrome case features a separately affixed, raised Westinghouse emblem. This dimensional advertising treatment gives the lighter a distinctive presence and makes it especially appealing to collectors of emblem Zippos and iconic American corporate advertising.

The lighter is housed in its correct period emblem box. The elevated interior platform was designed to accommodate the extra height created by the affixed emblem, confirming that the box is appropriate for this style of lighter.

Condition

The lighter is tight, correct, and exceptionally well preserved overall. The raised emblem remains firmly affixed and presents cleanly. One noticeable pockmark, often referred to by collectors as a flea bite, is present on the back of the case. This isolated storage-related mark is clearly shown in the photographs and is the reason the lighter is graded Excellent 94 rather than Mint.
