1951–1953 G&S Distributing Jax or Miller High Life Repainted Zippo

A fun, well-traveled early-1950s Zippo advertising lighter dating to approximately 1951–1953. The face advertises G&S Distributing Co. with the slogan “Your Choice of 2 Fine Beers” and features Jax and Miller High Life.

This lighter is heavily used and well worn, with substantial age-related patina, surface wear, scratches, discoloration, and evidence of many years of use. The original advertising was largely worn away and has been professionally repainted in its original-style colors by an experienced restorer, bringing the colorful beer graphics back to life while preserving the character of the aged case.

This lighter is not for everyone, but perfect for someone!!

The period-correct insert is used and has been fitted with a new wick. This is not a pristine collector-grade example; it is a character piece with more than 70 years of history, honest wear, and a distinctive restored presentation. It has been around the block, seen some good times, and has been given a second life.
