Great Zippo slim beer advertiser - Vintage in fair condition. This lighter commemorates the year Schaefer went public with $106 stock offering  - 1968

Schaefer Beer is a brand of American beer first produced in New York City during 1842 by the F&M Schaefer Brewing Company. The company relocated to Brooklyn in the early 20th century. It went public in 1968 with a $106 million stock offering. the beer was very popular in some parts of the USA in the 60s and 70s. 

The lighter was well used as an every day lighter. It has wear front and back and some small dings on the lid as shown in the photos. Hinge is wobbly. We grade this at Fair 75. 

Still, this lighter is 52 years old with an iconic beer brand emblem on it. It displays well for an emblem, advertiser of beverage collector.
