This lighter 2002 Silver Plated -Final Run- Zippo Canada Mint in Collector's Box Zippo
This lighter and all components are in pristine condition and has been kept in a tight plastic wrap with the orange seal on it. this kept the silver from tarnishing over the years. the lighter comes in a Black velour/felt clamshell display box with papers.
the lighter is engraved in the silver plate with a Maple Leaf - Final Production Run - #22,333 of 25,000 - Collectors Edition - Zippo Canada - 1949 - 2002.
In 2002, Zippo closed its plant that was located in Niagara, Ontario, Canada and moved the operation back to Bradford PA where they had just upgraded the equipment there. This was the last lighter produced following 53 years of production in Canada.
