This is a fantastic '50's piece in great condition - Our grade is Mint 97 - it has one pinpoint sized speck on the back as seen in the photo.
The lighter has a K of C emblem, the insert and hinge are in new condition. Solid Zippo.
The Knights of Columbus (K of C) is a global Catholic fraternal service order. Membership is composed of (and limited to) practicing Catholic men. It is led by Supreme Knight. The organization was founded in 1882 as a mutual benefit society for working-class and immigrant Catholics in the United States.
