Iconic Long Island Savings and Loan Bank Zippo Lighter
The lighter says 1970 on the three color etch and paint graphic, but it is a 1969 Zippo case. The lighter is in unfired condition with no blemishes at all. This 52 year old lighter and box we stored in ideal conditions. The box is tight with no tears. The lighter is crisp in every way with everything correct.
The Long Island Savings Bank started in 1876 and was at its peak in the late '60's. There were several branches in Suffolk County, New York and based on where this was found it was from the West Islip branch, and used either for employee and client.
